The Mid Valley Girls Volleyball team has displayed an emerging performance so far in their 2026 season. After showing steady improvement in previous seasons, the team is looking to build on its early success and continue its momentum throughout the year.
Four years into the program, the varsity girls volleyball team is making a strong impact this season. With a 11-4 record, the team is off to a strong start, showing signs of continued growth and development.
Much of the team's success can be attributed to the growth and experience the players have gained over the past few years. As the volleyball program continues to grow, players have become more confident in their abilities and more comfortable together on the court.
“I feel like seeing how the girls and I on this team, especially us seniors have grown feels like a huge accomplishment. I'm excited to show our hard work more on the court," said senior Kate Coviello.
The success of the volleyball program extends beyond just the varsity team, as the junior varsity team has also had an impressive start to the season. Currently holding a 7-0 record, the JV team remains undefeated and has shown strong performance throughout its games. The success of both teams highlights the growth of the program and the talent developing within the younger players.
With the season still underway, the team hopes to maintain its strong start and continue improving as the competition becomes more challenging. Rather than focusing only on their current record, the players are looking to use each game as an opportunity to grow and prepare for the rest of the season. With their experience, teamwork, and continued dedication, the team will look to carry its momentum into the games ahead.
